RinQuinQuin

Sweet and alcoholic wine de liqueur produced on the French Rhône in the Luberon region. The name means "invigorating drink" after an old French term. A white wine is prepared with dried peach tree leaves, up to seven white and yellow peach varieties, cane sugar and alcohol(rum) for four to five weeks. The liqueur wine has an alcohol content of about 15% vol. and a typical taste of peaches and vanilla. It is drunk naturally, chilled or possibly with ice. It is often enjoyed with goose liver or as an aperitif.

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
