Producer description of "Moro - Rinaldini"

The winery is located in the municipality of Calerno di Sant'Ilario d'Enza (province of Reggio Emilia) in the region of Italy. It was founded in 1972 by Rinaldo Rinaldini (+2010). Today, it is run by Paola Rinaldini, her husband Marco Melegari, and son Luca. Luca Zavarese is responsible as enologist. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vines on alluvial soils with a high plant density of 4,000 vines/hectare each in cordon training. They are planted with the red wine varieties Lambrusco Grasparossa, Lambrusco Maestri, Lambrusco Marani, Lambrusco o (Lambrusco Pjcol Ross), Lambrusco Salamino, Ancellotta and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as with the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica and Pinot Bianco.
