Rigl

In South Tyrol common name (also bar) for a district or also for a vineyard site (reed). The rig fences or the rig thresholds embedded in the ground form the boundaries of a rig. The head of a Rigl is called Rigler. In Kaltern, rigl is also understood as a quality-dependent designation of several wineries. Rigl is derived from the Latin "Regula" for "guard rail".
