single vineyard in the municipality of Meersburg (Lake Constance area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. The vineyard, which faces southwest to south-southwest, is extremely steep in parts, with slopes ranging from 30 to 70%. It covers 3.7 hectares of vineyards and is located directly on Lake Constance above Meersburg harbour. The skeleton-rich soil consists of freshwater molasse and moraine gravel. The varieties Riesling, Pinot Gris, Traminer and Pinot Noir are cultivated here. The site is solely owned by the Meersburg State Winery, which can be seen in the picture on the left.
