Well-known Sicilian branded wine from the Tasca d'Almerita winery; see there.

The winery is located in the municipality of Sclafani Bagni in the province of Palermo on the island of Sicily. It was founded in 1830. At that time, the two brothers Don Lucio and Don Carmelo Mastrogiovanni Tasca acquired the former Regaleali fiefdom with around 1,200 hectares of land. The estate was managed by Lucio Baron Tasca, one of Sicily's agricultural pioneers. Under the leadership of his grandson Count Tasca of Almerita (+1892), Regaleali wine became famous far beyond the borders.
