Récoltant

French designation (abbreviation R) for an independent winegrower in Champagne who does not grow his own wines and does not belong to a cooperative. The grapes of his harvest are processed into champagne by a Négociant Manipulant (NM) or Récoltant Manipulant (RM) in a contract procedure.
