The white grape variety (breeding no. Vidal 119) is a new cross between Colombard x Saint-Émilion (Trebbiano Toscano), which was confirmed by DNA analyses carried out in 2013. The cross was made in France by the breeder Jean-Louis Vidal. In 2016, no stocks were reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
