The winery is located in the municipality of A Rúa (Ourense province) in the DO area of Valdeorras in Galicia. It was founded in 2004 by Rafael Palacios. His older brother Álvaro Palacios is the legendary winemaker from the Priorato area in Catalonia. These are for example 1920, Caneiros, Castineiro, Chao do Couso, Coalleira, Encarnacion, Falcoeira, Olivar, O Serro, O Soro, dos Santos, Valdanta, Valdauga, Valverde and Venta.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
