Rabl Rudolph

The winery "Rabl - Kamptal Winery" is located in the wine town of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine growing region Kamptal. It was already mentioned in a wine growing document in 1750. The business was taken over in 1975 by Rudolf Rabl sen., son Rudolf jun. joined the business in 1986, who is responsible for the vinification. The vineyards comprise 80 hectares of vines in, for example, Käferberg, Kittmannsberg, Liss, Schenkenbichl, Spiegel, Steinhaus, Steinmassl and Weißes Kreuz. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Welschriesling, Frühroter Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Rivaner, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller and Traminer, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir. Cultivation is exclusively according to the guidelines of the KIP (Controlled, Integrated Production).
