The "Rabl - Kamptal Winery" is located in the wine town of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. It was already mentioned in wine-growing documents in 1750. The winery was taken over in 1975 by Rudolf Rabl sen., son Rudolf jun. joined the business in 1986, showing responsibility for vinification. The vineyards cover 80 hectares in the Käferberg, Kittmannsberg, Liss, Schenkenbichl, Spiegel, Steinhaus, Steinmassl and Weißes Kreuz vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Welschriesling, Frühroter Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Rivaner, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller and Traminer, as well as with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir. The vineyards are cultivated exclusively according to the KIP (Controlled Integrated Production) guidelines. Quality criteria are short pruning, careful, vine-specific foliage work for better exposure to sunlight and ventilation, and yield reduction through thinning
