Quassaic

The red grape variety is an interspecific new breeding between Clinton x Muscat d'Hamburg. It contains genes from Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in the USA in 1870. Sir is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
