Quality mark

Awards for wines in Germany, which may be awarded by neutral tastings and listed on the bottle (label) if higher qualities are fulfilled according to precisely defined criteria. The quality score must be at least 2.5 points (see also official test number). Approved quality marks are Baden Selection, German Wine Seal, Badischer Weinbauverband quality mark and Franconian quality mark. The VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates) has created its own quality mark regulations, see VDP Classification.
