Quadruple

Old barrel measure (also called Vierling) from the Markgräflerland in the German Baden wine region with a volume of 600 litres. The name derives from the fact that four ohms fit into it. These barrels were used as new(wine green) barrels similar to the French Barrique. See also under barrel types and hollow dimensions.
