IGT area (Landweine) for white, red and rosé wines in the Italian region of Lombardy. It covers over 2,000 hectares of vineyards in numerous municipalities in the province of Pavia. Grape varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. For the wines, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed differently for each wine type, but no maturation periods.
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.Egon Mark
