Primavera

The red grape variety is a new cross between Castelão Francês x Alicante Henri Bouschet, which was confirmed by DNA analyses carried out in 2020. The cross was made in Portugal by the breeder José Leão Ferreira de Almeida. It is grown in the Portuguese region of Centro. In 2016, 39 hectares of vineyards were designated (Kym Anderson).
