Designation (also grape-specific or grape-derived Aroma) for the substances contained in the Grape. Depending on the Grape Variety, there are varietal typical aromas. Certain aromatic substances are only developed during the Fermentation (Secondary Aroma) and Aging of the wine (Tertiary Aroma). See also under Typicity.
