The white grape variety is a new cross between Boskokwi (Gordin) x Madeleine Royale, which was confirmed by DNA analyses carried out in 2013. This is based on only 20 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). Synonyms are Raisin Superbe, Ryazanskii Sevebryany, Super Grape. The cross was made by the breeder Christian Oberlin (1831-1915) in Colmar (Alsace, France). It was a crossing partner of the new varieties Muskát Moravský, Serena and Sibera. The vine is used as a winepress and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
