The winery is located in the municipality of Stadecken-Elsheim (Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. After the marriage of Erika Göth and Roland Doll, the two wineries Göth in Gau-Bischofsheim and Doll in Stadecken were merged in 1993. The headquarters is the former imperial post office in Stadecken, which gives the winery its name. The owners are Karl-Theo and Roland Doll. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard sites Lenchen and Spitzberg (Stadecken), Blume (Elsheim), Kellersberg (Gau-Bischofsheim), and Teufelspfad (Essenheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling (25%), Silvaner, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner, Huxelrebe, Kerner, Scheurebe, Faberrebe, Gewürztraminer, Morio-Muskat and Bacchus, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Merlot, St. Laurent and Portugieser. Due to the diversity of varieties, there is a wide range of products. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. Afterwards, most of the white wines are matured in steel barrels, the red wines traditionally in large wooden barrels. In suitable years, ice wines are also vinified. Fine brandies (grape, yeast) and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. Around 180,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
