The Slovak ampelographer Ing. Dorota Pospíšilová (*1930) studied agriculture. Afterwards she worked at the Research Institute of Viticulture in Bratislava, where she devoted herself to vine breeding. She created a total of 24 wine and table grape varieties, which were entered into the register of varieties. Among others, these were the seven press varieties Dunaj, Hron, Nitranka, Rimava, Rudava, Torysa and Váh. In her book "Ampelografia Slovenska" she describes Central European grape varieties.
