The Slovakian ampelographer Ing. Dorota Pospíšilová (*1930) studied agriculture. She then worked at the Research Institute of Viticulture in Bratislava, where she devoted herself to vine breeding. She created a total of 24 wine grape and table grape varieties, which were included in the register of varieties. These included the seven Celtic varieties Dunaj, Hron, Nitranka, Rimava, Rudava, Torysa and Váh. In her book "Ampelografia Slovenska" she describes Central European grape varieties. Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
