The winery is located in the municipality of Gamlitz-Kranachberg in the Austrian wine-growing region of Southern Styria. A Buschenschank is connected. The parental business was taken over by Markus and Sabine Pongratz in 2008. The vineyards comprise ten hectares of vineyards in the Hochberg and Kranachberg areas. They are 90% planted with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Morillon (Chardonnay), Rivaner and Gelber Muskateller, the rest with Zweigelt. Wine-growing is consistently carried out in a near-natural, environmentally friendly manner.

Depending on the type of wine, the wines are aged in steel tanks, in large wooden barrels or in barriques. As a special feature, various events and concerts are held or organised. Together with the well-known artist Willi Resetarits, the matching wines "Aus Sun und aus Reb'n" and "No so fü" were created for his new "Stub'nblues Program". In years suitable for the weather, ice wine is also pressed. Fine brandies and pumpkin seed oil are also produced.
