The winery is located in the community of Hof bei Straden in the Austrian wine growing region Vulkanland Steiermark. The family business has a 300-year-old tradition, today it is managed by Franz and Michaela Pock. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vineyards in the Karlaberg reed, which is oriented to the southeast. They are planted with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rivaner, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt and Merlot. In the vineyard, consistent yield regulation takes place. The wines are vinified with varietal, area and vintage typicity. Depending on the type of wine, they are aged in steel tanks, large wooden barrels or barriques. Secco, grape juice and pumpkin seed oil are also produced.
