Plant de Mavault

The white grape variety originates from France. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2012, it is a presumably natural cross between Gouais Blanc x Trousseau Noir. However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). It is a parent of Marsanne de Pays. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
