The Rudi Pichler jun. winery is located in the municipality of Wösendorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wachau. The vineyards cover 10.5 hectares in the Achleiten, Hochrain, Kirchweg, Kollmütz and Steinriegel vineyards. Only white wine varieties are cultivated, namely Grüner Veltliner (55%), Riesling (35%),Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Roter Veltliner. The company's motto is: In accordance with our philosophy, our wines should be authentic and have an unmistakable identity through the imprint of the different soils, microclimates and the winemaker. We attach great importance to strictly selected, healthy grapes of the highest quality. The premium wines include, for example, the Veltliners and Rieslings of the three qualities Steinfeder, Federspiel and Smaragd, as well as the Weißburgunder Kollmütz. Noble brandies are also produced. Around 70,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is a member of the Tu Felix Austria and Vinea Wachau Nobilis Districtus winegrowers' associations.
