The winery is located in the municipality of Dürnstein-Oberloiben in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wachau. It was founded in 2006 by Elisabeth Pichler-Krutzler and Erich Krutzler. Erich Krutzler comes from Deutsch-Schützen in southern Burgenland, where a Blaufränkisch from the Weinberg vineyard was produced as a start. From the 2007 vintage, production began in the Wachau. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyards in the Frauengärten, Supperin and Kellerberg vineyards in the Wunderburg (Dürnstein), Klostersatz and Loibenberg sub-groves in the Rothenberg and Rothenhof (Loiben) sub-groves, as well as Pfaffenberg in the Kremstal growing region. The white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Pinot Blanc are processed.
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
