The vineyards cover 28 hectares of vineyards on calcareous marl and loamy sandstone soil in the commune of Orschwihr. They are planted with Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Muscat Blanc. Well-known producers are Lucien Albrecht, François Braun, François Schmitt and Albert Ziegler.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
