Isolated location in the municipality of Waldulm (Ortenau area) in the German Baden
growing region. The vineyards, which are oriented in waves from east to west and in some areas exactly south, at an altitude of 250 to 400 metres above sea level with a slope gradient of 20 to 60%, comprise 94 hectares of vineyards on extremely skeleton-rich granite weathered soils. The Spätburgunder variety is cultivated here in particular. Several members of the Waldulm winegrowers' cooperative, for example, have shares in the site.
