The winery is located in the municipality of Worms-Pfeddersheim (Wonnegau area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. It was founded in 1960 by Wolfgang Pfannebecker and taken over by Holker and Margit Pfannebecker in 1979. The farm became known as the "Burgunderhof". Today it is run by Holker and son Max Pfannebecker. The vineyards cover 25 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Hochberg and Sankt Georgenberg (Pfeddersheim), Katzebuckel and Nonnenheim (Mörstadt), and Am heiligen Häuschen (Wies-Oppenheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Goldmuskateller, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, St. Laurent and Cabernet Sauvignon.
