Synonym for the grape variety Gamba Rossa; see there.

Gamba Rossa

The red grape variety originates from Italy. The name means "partridge's foot" and is derived from the red-purple colouring of the shoots. Synonyms are Gamba 'd Pernis, Gamba di Pernice, Imperatrice dalla Gamba Rossa, Neretto degli Alteni (according to the traditional cultivation method in small plots), Pernice, Pernicine Nell'Albese.
