The white grape variety (also Perlot) is a new cross between Cinsaut x Csaba Gyöngye. The cross was made in 1956 in France by the French ampelographer Paul Truel (1924-2014) at the Domaine de Vassal. The vine is used as a wine grape and table grape. It is grown in small vats in the Roussillon area. In 2016, one hectare of vines was designated (Kym Anderson statistics).
The Wine lexicon helps me to keep up to date and refresh my knowledge. Thank you for this Lexicon that will never end in terms of topicality! That's what makes it so exciting to come back often.
