IGT area (country wines) for red and rosé wines in the Italian region of Calabria. It covers three hectares of vineyards in the municipality of Motta San Giovanni and part of the municipality of Reggio Calabria in the province of Reggio Calabria. Grape varieties permitted in the region may be used; white wine varieties are also permitted up to a maximum of 15%. Different for each wine type, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed, but no maturation period.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
