The white grape variety (also Corinto Bianco) originates from Spain. It is a seedless mutation of the Spanish Pedro Ximénez variety. It must not be confused with the Greek variety Korinthiaki Lefki (with synonym Corinto Bianco). The vine is used as a winepress and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
