Pecorari

Producer description of "Pierpaolo Pecorari"
The "Azienda Agricola Pierpaolo Pecorari" winery is located in the municipality of San Lorenzo Isontino in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is managed by Pier Paolo Pecorari and his son Alessandro. The vineyards cover an area of 30 hectares in the top locations of Kolaus, Olivers and Soris, for example. They are planted with the varieties Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Merlot, Friulano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio. Since 2007 the winery has been officially certified as an organic farm. The wines are produced in the three lines "Varietale", "Altis" and "Riserve". Among the premium wines are for example "Altis Pinot Bianco", "Tao" (Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso), "Baolar Merlot", "Kolaus Sauvignon", "Soris Chardonnay" and "Olivers Pinot Grigio".
