A joint project of Wolfgang Peck and Josef Umathum in the Burgenland community of Andau in the Neusiedlersee wine-growing region (Austria), close to the Hungarian border. Under the name Zantho (the old Magyar word means "arable land") the first documentary mention of the community of Andau was made as early as 1488. With this brand name a complete range of Burgenland red, white and sweet wines is produced in the Winzergenossenschaft Andau.
