This traditional winery is located in the municipality of Kesten (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. It is a former collegiate farm of the church of St. Paulin (Trier), which was first mentioned in a document in 936. At the time of secularisation in 1803, the Paulinshof became private property. Since 1969 it has belonged to Klaus and Christa Jüngling. The cellar master is their son, Dipl. Ing. Oliver Jüngling. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Brauneberg with the sites Juffer, Juffer Sonnenuhr and (in sole ownership) Kammer; as well as Kesten with the sites Herrenberg, Paulinsberg and Paulinshofberger. They are 100% planted with Riesling. The declared goal is terroir-based wines, which is achieved by yield reduction, late and selective harvesting, and only cautious use of modern techniques in the cellar. Dry, semi-dry and sweet wines are produced.
