Patorra

The red grape variety comes from Portugal. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. It was a parent of the Spanish variety Mencía. The variety is cultivated in the Norte region in the DO area of Trás-os-Montes. In 2016, 10 hectares of vineyard area were designated there (statistics Kym Anderson).
