The winery is located in the municipality of Jois in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee (Austria). The family has been involved in winegrowing since the 17th century. Martin Pasler took over his parents' business in 1994 after years of apprenticeship and travelling in the leading wineries of Germany, France and Australia. The winemaker has set himself the high goal of making his wines among the best in the world. The vineyards comprise 11 hectares of vines, some of which are 80 years old. The red wine varieties BlaufränkischZweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay,Pinot Blanc, Goldburger and Neuburger. The quality criteria are selective vine pruning, strong yield reduction and selective manual harvesting with several harvest passes. Premium wines are Cuvée "W" (Chardonnay Spätlesen), Cuvée "R" (Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt), Zweigelt "Z" from old vine stocks, as well as noble sweet Trockenbeerenauslesen. Around 70,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
