The farm "Weinhof und Pension Parzer" is located in the municipality of Oberfucha at the foot of the Göttweiger Berg in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Kremstal. It has been in family ownership since 1843. With the new building of the cellar with current state of the art cellar technology, a tasting room for up to 60 people was also adapted. The business is run by Christian Parzer and his wife Andrea. The guesthouse, run by Brigitte Parzer, has a solar-heated swimming pool with a sunbathing area and is located not far from the wine farm at the beginning of Upper Fucha in a wonderful quiet location amidst idyllic vineyards and orchards. The vineyards cover seven hectares in the areas Frauengrund, Gaisberg, Hoher Rain, Panzen, Richtern, Seebodenberg, Sprinzenberg and Wendelstatt. They are 75% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (50% of the area), Riesling, Gelber Muskateller and Chardonnay, and 25% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The main focus is on the vinification of elegant wines with clarity, structure and finesse, which should reflect the characteristics of the site and the vintage unaltered. The white wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks and mostly dry aged. The red wines mature in barriques. Premium wines are various Grüner Veltliner and Rieslings Kremstal DAC and Kremstal DAC Reserve. Also sparkling wines as well as noble brandies and liqueurs are produced. The winery is a member of the association Vinum Circa Montem.
