The red grape variety is a new variety between Coarnă Neagră x Pierrelle. Synonyms are Pameati Negrulea, Pamjat Negrulja and Pamjati Negrula. The cross was made in Moldova in 1961 by the breeder M. S. Zhuravel. It is mainly used as table grape. In 2016, 123 hectares of vineyards were designated in Moldova (Kym Anderson).
