Special wine-growing area near the municipality of San Antonio de Requena in the Spanish DO area Utiel-Requena in the Spanish region of Valencia. It was classified as the highest Spanish wine quality level Vino de Pago in 2012. The vineyards cover 40 hectares of vineyards on limestone rich soils. The red wine varieties Bobal (with 100-year-old vines), Garnacha Tinta, Cabernet Franc, Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, as well as the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Macabeo and Sauvignon Blanc are cultivated. The area is entirely owned by the Bodegas Chozas Carrascal winery.
