Pago Calzadilla

Special wine-growing area in the municipality of Huete in the province of Cuenca in the Spanish region of (Castile-La Mancha). It has been classified in 2011 as the highest Spanish wine quality level . The vineyards cover 260 hectares of vineyards between 900 and 1,000 metres above sea level. The four red wine varieties , , and are cultivated. The area is entirely owned by the Pago Calzadilla winery of the same name (Uribes family).
