Ontañón

Producer description of "Altos de Ontañon, S.L."
The winery "Bodegas Ontañón" is located in Logroño (headquarters) in the Spanish Rioja sub-area Rioja Alta. It was founded in 1984. The vineyards cover 180 hectares of vineyards, mainly planted with the classic Rioja varieties Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha Tinta. The brands produced are Crianza, Reserva, Gran Reserva, Arteso, Colección Mitológica, Marco Fabio and Vetiver. More than 4,500 French and American oak barrels are available for ageing. About 20% of the production is exported.
