IGT area (country wines) for white, red and rosé wines in the Italian region or on the island of Sardinia. It covers 11 hectares of vineyards in numerous municipalities in the province of Ogliastra and the municipalities of San Vito and Villaputzu in the province of Cagliari. Grape varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. For the wines, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed differently for each wine type, but no maturation periods.
The Wine lexicon helps me to keep up to date and refresh my knowledge. Thank you for this Lexicon that will never end in terms of topicality! That's what makes it so exciting to come back often.
