single vineyard in the municipality of Oestrich in the German wine-growing region of Rheingau. There are three versions for the origin of the name. On the one hand, the name could be derived from a hillside that bordered on the original location of Lenchen, and on the other hand, many words in the Oestrich dialect are diminutive with "sch".
