The winery is located in the municipality of Hagenbrunn near the northern city limits of Wien in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. A Heuriger is attached. It was founded in 1932 and is now run by Christoph Rieger, the fourth generation of the family. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the Bisamberg in, for example, the Brennleiten and Hofmauer vineyards and extend over the three municipalities of Hagenbrunn, Königsbrunn and Stammersdorf. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Riesling, Chardonnay, Gelber Muskateller, Sämling 88 and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt and Blauburgunder. The premium wines include various Weinviertel DAC (Grüner Veltliner).
