Oberrot

single vineyard in the municipality of Lengfurt (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The name refers to the transition from the upper Röt (Buntsandstein) to the lower Muschelkalk. The southwest-facing vineyard with a slope of 10 to 15% covers 2.3 hectares of vineyards on sandy, weathered red sandstone soil. Pinot Noir and St. Laurent are cultivated here.
