Obeïdi

The white grape variety originates from Lebanon. Synonyms are Obaideh, Obedi and Oubeïdi. It is presumably a local clone of the Chardonnay variety (Gouais Blanc x Pinot). Obeïdi is used for the production of table grapes, arrack and white wine. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
