The "Domaine Nussbaumer" in the community of Aesch in the Swiss canton Baselland
is managed by Kurt Nussbaumer. The company's own vineyards cover five hectares of vineyard area, with a further five hectares leased. They are located in the municipalities of Aesch, Arlesheim and Flüh. The white varieties Chardonnay, Chasselas, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Räuschling and Riesling x Sylvaner (Müller-Thurgau), as well as the red varieties Blauburgunder and Garanoir are cultivated there. From the red varieties the "Cuvée Nussi" and a straw wine are pressed. The own production amounts to 70,000 bottles of wine per year, another 100,000 are produced in wage labour for other winegrowers of the region.
