The white grape variety originates from Italy(Sardinia). Synonyms are Nuragus Moscatello and Nuragus Rosso Rompizolla. The parentage is unknown. It must not be confused with the varieties Nuragus or Nuragus Arrubiu because of morphological or name similarities. The part of the name Moscadeddu (Moscatello) indicates a muscat tone of the wines. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
