Nüssenberg

single vineyard in the municipality of Weischütz (Neuenburg Castle area) in the German wine-growing region of Saale-Unstrut. The southwest-facing vineyards with slopes ranging from 10 to 40% cover 54 hectares of vineyards on loam and clayey weathered soils on shell limestone. The varieties cultivated here are Pinot Blanc, Silvaner,Chasselas, Bacchus, Kerner, Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. The Lüttmer, Schulze and Wölbling wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
