Northern Ireland, with its capital Belfast, covers 13,843 square kilometres and is part of the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". It is located in the north of the island. There is no viticulture here (yet). However, there is a small amount of viticulture in the much larger southern part, the Republic of Ireland (which is not part of the Kingdom).
